Army Band Visit 2008

Back in 2008, we were lucky enough to have a visit from the Army Band.  The played to the assembled school community and really entertained all the children.  They had a ball and really enjoyed themselves - listening to music from every genre.  They even got a chance to listen to all the different instruments and learn a little about how orchestras and bands are put together.

Write-A-Book 2008

The Write-A-Book project is a project run through the Kildare Education Centre.  It is an extremely worthwhile project that challenges pupils to write their own book.  Over the years, Scoil Mhuire have had many classes and groups take up the challenge and been very success.  Here are a few photos from the Reward Ceremony held at Scoil Mhuire.

Mobile Farm Visit 2008

The mobile farm visited Scoil Mhuire back in 2008.  All the classes got to see the animals that had come to visit.  It was a really enjoyable experience, with some children seeing animals that they'd never seen before.
