Today is the 8th of December and it is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We all went to the church to celebrate mass on this special day for Mary. There were members of the local community present as well as the students and teachers from our school.
On Wednesday the Annual Sale of Work took place in the Big Hall. It was completely packed with toys, books and buns. There were fun games too which we played and there were raffles as well. Mrs Dunning’s mothers Christmas cake looked lovely and loads of tickets were sold to try and win it. It was so much fun and we cannot wait for it again next year. A total of €2,725 was raised for local charities.
Over the last few weeks we have been doing some lovely winter Art in Room 8. We made a winter scene which had a tree surrounded by some heavy snow on a blue background. They look great. We also made some reindeer paintings where Rudolf’s red nose really stands out. We love doing art.
