We are coming to the end of our drama lessons with Paula which we have thoroughly enjoyed. We developed our cooperation and improvisation skills during our drama activities.
We have had the chance to write creative stories about The Fiery Mermaid, Destruction and The Snare. We used lots of descriptive vocabulary and phrases.
We are really enjoying Maths Week so far. We worked together as teams on the iPads playing different games each day. Our favourite so far is the Car Park game. Some of us also came close to completing the most difficult level of The Tower of Hanoi.
We were very lucky to have a guest speaker from Newbridge library to tell us more about World War 1, German U-boats, what soldiers used to wear and especially how Kildare and Newbridge people were affected by the war.
We are all working hard to reach our target of reading six books by Halloween.
Lastly, we are all trying our best to keep active. We do circuits and Drop Everything And Run every day which gives us a nice break and helps us to keep fit! We are all involved in other sports too like Basketball after school and cross country during lunch time.
We are all really looking forward to enjoying ourselves over the Halloween break.
