Last week, on Tuesday 19th March, 6th Class made their Confirmation in Cill Mhuire Church. Fr. Paul led the ceremony for the large congregation. Our families thoroughly enjoyed the day and we were lucky to have nice weather for photographs after the ceremony. Many of us enjoyed a meal out with our families, or some form of small celebration.
The Flag Football league is coming to a close, we are now in the quarter final stage with knock-out games being held daily. The Bronco’s and Saints are currently out in front, but anything can happen…
We have completed History projects about different influential women in history, including gymnasts, pirates, swimmers and scientists.
Boys and girls Gaelic Football has started. The teams are training hard and have a busy number of weeks ahead with matches every week. One of our teams in the 5 a side Soccer league have managed to progress to the next stage, after being narrowly defeated in their final game. The Spikeball team competed valiantly in University of Limerick last week making it through to the knock-out stages, but were narrowly defeated by last year’s winning school.
