It’s almost Christmas and Mr Kelly’s class are preparing for the Nativity play in the church. The play is as Gaeilge with some English songs in there too. It has been a great way to practise our Irish. The whole school will be there to watch it on Friday the 22nd of December, and parents are invited to watch it too. We have been practising the play since November and luckily everybody in the class has a speaking part. We are also very lucky to have microphones so that we can be heard. Our teacher Mr Kelly worked very hard to find and make props for the play and we also have lovely costumes. The play tells the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. We are acting the parts of Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise men, the Innkeepers and we even have a sheep! It is important to remember the meaning of Christmas and how it all began. Merry Christmas to everyone from Mr. Kelly’s class and enjoy the holidays.
Each class level writes on this blog. We post information about what it happening in our school.
