It has been a busy start to October for Mr Connolly’s 5th class. We have written poems in English, learned all the major rivers, lakes and mountains of Ireland and designed dreamcatchers in Art. As we approach the end of our weekly swimming lessons in the Curragh pool, we have enjoyed learning new swimming strokes and we are now more confident in the water. Our class has been very active too! This week we ran a combined 210km during our cross country and drop everything and run sessions. That’s the same distance as Newbridge to Belfast. We are also very proud of winning the school attendance award with full attendance from everyone this week. We are now looking forward to Maths week and the upcoming Hallowe’en festivities.
Each class level writes on this blog. We post information about what it happening in our school.
