Thursday was World Book Day and we celebrated by hosting a “Book Tasting” for some of our classes. Children were given a couple of minutes to “taste” a book, before writing a review to decide whether or not they would like to keep reading it. All of the books we read are available in the school library, Newbridge library, or to buy using the book tokens we got for WBD. It is also Seachtain na Gaeilge, and we are very busy practicing our songs, poems and play for the ceolchoirm next week, as well as our dances for the céilí.
