Ms Gannon's Class hard at work last term
Sept - Dec 2013
My School
Five days a week in Newbridge town,
In Scoil Mhuire School I can be found.
Doing maths and English and writing so neat,
Sometimes snapping my fingers and tapping my feet.
You see my school has great shows; we could form a great band.
This is the place my love of music began.
We play lots of music, tin whistle, violin,
But when I get home it makes mams head spin.
There are many varieties of musical tastes,
But Mr Nea teaches without any haste.
With bricks and wood, maybe even a nail,
This school was built for us kids not to fail.
They help us follow our dreams, how ever high they may be,
With Mr King by our side, we grow strong, no longer a baby.
So all that’s left to say and it’s straight from my heart.
A huge thanks to the teachers for playing their part.
For helping me become the person I am today.
THANK YOU so much and Hip Hip Hooray.
